Sadly Kevin Thorpe died suddenly after a performance in Newark on September 11th.

Kevin produced CDs by Eugene Bridges, Brian Kramer and The Couch Lizards and masterfully held together a challenging production with Larry Johnson.

His own band, Out of the Blue, released two CDs on Armadillo.
He was naturally at home in a studio and had great musicality and humour.
A huge loss to music and all who knew him.

January 2010 finds Stevie in Austin, Texas, recording his first solo album at The Zone, a renowned studio in nearby Dripping Springs.

Focusing on the music Stevie listens to 'off the park' when he’s not on the road with The Nimmo Brothers.  This album is sure to deliver an Americana, Rootsy treat with special guests; most definitely a 2010 CD to watch out for.

Micky Moody, Acoustic Journeyman now in store.

"It works brilliantly as a concept album, and this collection of compositions contains a wholesome maturity that will keep you returning back to it many times over. There is nothing here to dislike and it's the kind of album that aspiring acoustic musicians would do well to listen to, as an education in soulful playing."
