With seventeen years performing together and five successful CD releases behind them, Stevie and Alan Nimmo, The Nimmo Brothers from Glasgow, Scotland are back to their roots with the new CD, 'Brother to Brother'.
Arguably they have written their best songs to date, influenced by "everything we’ve ever listened to over the past 20 years".
Recorded in Austin, Texas, with Jamie Oldaker (Eric Clapton) on drums; Michael Ramos (Robert Plant, John Mellencamp, Paul Simon and Los Lonely Boys) on Hammond organ; Bill Whitbeck (Robert Earl Keen) and Jimmy Pettit (Joe Ely Band) on bass guitar.
There is something for every rock fan in their original material as well as a couple of handpicked covers.

Sadly Kevin Thorpe died suddenly after a performance in Newark on September 11th.
Kevin produced CDs by Eugene Bridges, Brian Kramer and The Couch Lizards and masterfully held together a challenging production with Larry Johnson.
His own band, Out of the Blue, released two CDs on Armadillo.
He was naturally at home in a studio and had great musicality and humour.
A huge loss to music and all who knew him.

Official release date 6th September 2010
Fleshed out with pedal steel, banjo, accordion, B3 and Wurlitzer amongst the other instruments,
The Wynds of Life falls under the Americana banner, it is roots music with country and gospel influences along with blues.

Micky Moody, Acoustic Journeyman now in store.
"It works brilliantly as a concept album, and this collection of compositions contains a wholesome maturity that will keep you returning back to it many times over. There is nothing here to dislike and it's the kind of album that aspiring acoustic musicians would do well to listen to, as an education in soulful playing."
